Broke Escape Privacy Policy
Effective: October 15, 2026
Broke Escape (the "app", iOS) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
1. Information the app collects
The app has no account or sign-in, and it never sends your information to a server or database run by us. We receive no information from the app.
Your saved game, settings such as vibration and event art, and the nickname you choose in the game are stored only on your device. We cannot see them, and they are not backed up or synced to other devices.
The app does not access your location, contacts, step count or motion data. It does not use Game Center and does not download game content from any server.
2. Purchases (Remove Ads)
The Remove Ads purchase is handled by the App Store. It is a one-time, non-consumable purchase (₩3,300 in Korea) with no automatic renewal. We never receive card numbers or other payment details; the app only checks on your device whether the App Store reports a purchase.
3. Information collected by third parties for ads
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC). There are no banner ads.
- Rewarded ads play only when you choose them, for rewards such as extra intel, undoing bad luck, a one-month grace period on an overdue payment, starting a new life with double legacy, or ending a burnout early.
- One interstitial ad plays when the year changes in the game.
If you buy Remove Ads, the interstitial ad no longer appears and you get rewards right away without watching an ad. AdMob may collect and process the following to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud.
| Collected by | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (AdMob) | Advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device, OS and app information, ad interactions such as views and clicks | Showing and personalizing ads, measuring ad performance, preventing invalid clicks |
See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Ad consent and opting out of personalized ads
- Where consent is required (such as the EEA and the UK), the app asks for your ad privacy consent with Google's consent tool (UMP), and you can change it any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy settings (shown only where consent is required).
- Choose whether to allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and change it any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you do not allow it, only non-personalized ads are shown.
5. Retention and deletion
Your saved game and settings are deleted when you delete the app. We keep no information of our own. Information processed by third parties (Google, Apple) is kept under their policies.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 (under 14 in Korea) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
